Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mom. In her early teens she choreographed and performed a dance that resulted in the honor of a German television show. The dance featured a Russian-born snow maiden that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. She graduated from high school in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB studio but the quit to pursue improvisation classes in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. She was raised in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as Russian-speaking mom Olga. At the age of 13, her parents divorced. Her father relocated her household to East Meadow New York. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. Her recurring role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
